Pinkie the Bear Goes To China

Since the girls can't go to China with us to meet Charlie, they are sending some love to their new little sister in the form of a Build-A-Bear.   

So off to Build-A-Bear we went...

Where they carefully selected a bear for Charlie (ok, ok- it was more like a battle because of course they could NOT AGREE!)

After they picked out a pink polka dot Minnie Mouse bear, they recorded a very special message for their little sister...

"We Love You Charlie, Love your big sisters Becca & Sarah"

They took turns nicely stuffing it & then they each chose a heart to make a special wish for her.  They kissed their hearts & sealed their wishes into the bear.

It got a good scrub before it was dressed....

They then picked out a special outfit they thought Charlie would really like.

And finally they gave it a name.  Alas Pinkie the Bear was born.  And made with lots of love from these two proud big sisters to the newest little sister.....

Then they tried to put it in a car so it could drive to China.

She didn't quite make it to China.  But she will board a plane in about a week.... and make into the arms of the girl she belongs to.
